A wonderful, rare, antique Shaman Medicine singing bowl. This is a flattened bell shape bowl, very rare shape with dual note and excellent energy and sustain.
These bowls were used for earth / water magic and mandala rituals. A thick walled and heavy bowl for the size.
Comes with a hardwood playing stick and cushion pad.
These bowls are meant to be struck. Rim play can be very difficult.
Evidence of oxidisation, staining comensuate with age and use. The bowl has been wiped over only.
