Shakti Bowls:
These unusual and hard to come by singing bowls originate from India, as almost all old bowls do. The bowls are thin walled and high, light weight, with wide, male rims. The rims are not solid but some are triangular. Many Shakti bowls have similar decoration with a few having inscriptions. Some are round bottomed most are flat. They can range from 7" diameter up to 13".
Shakti bowls can have unusual sounds caused by the thin walls and shape. A unique bowl type. Age can range from 200 years to 50 years old.
Comes with hardwood playing stick, wool mallet and brocade cushion.
